Wishbone Chair Black

Finished in black oil paint over an elm wood frame, this Wishbone Chair offers a darker alternative to the natural version while keeping the same woven paper rope seat. The dark frame makes the chair read more graphically around a table, which suits contemporary and monochrome dining rooms. Paper rope is woven by hand across the seat, giving a textured surface with some give underneath. The open back keeps the chair from feeling heavy despite the darker finish. It arrives fully assembled, so the chairs can be placed around the table without any construction required.
